Here is a bulletin board announcement I made at the end of a semester to remind students that they needed to take their exam. I placed it at the top of the class, so that when they logged in there was NO WAY they couldn't see it. This is one of my early news announcements.
This announcement was from last semester. Informative news announcements always have the same font and are simple in format. I find by keeping informative important news announcement in the same general format it helps students know what type of information is being presented.
